St. David's Relief Foundation
is partnering with St. Peter Catholic Church to sponsor
a two-week pilgrimage and work camp in the summer of 2012.
St. Peter Catholic Church is located in Forest Lake, Minnesota.
Over fifty of their parishioners have participated in
St. David's annual volunteer work camps dating back to
1997.
We expect to depart from the United States on June 8 and
return on June 22. A Medjugorje pilgrimage is scheduled
for the week of June 9 through June 15, and will be led
by a professional tour guide from Medjugorje. Father Mark
Joppa, Associate Pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church,
will provide spiritual direction for the group. The work
camp part of the trip will begin on June 16. We will work
on various projects in Mother's
Village, a humanitarian organization that is located
on the outskirts of Medjugorje.
We invite you to consider joining us for our 2012 Pilgrimage
and Volunteer Work Camp. The estimated cost for the pilgrimage
and volunteer work camp is $3,000, which includes airfare,
ground transportation, lodging, and two meals per day.
The estimated cost of the airfare is based on a trip from
Minneapolis, MN to Split, Croatia. Other departure cities
may slightly higher or lower.
